The last week has really sucked slimy donkey balls and I’m hopeful that the coming week changes course a bit.

The cool thing is I have a package arriving tomorrow that I absolutely cannot have left sitting out so of course I might end up needing to go into urgent care if this intermittent, momentary twinge somewhere behind my pubic bone does not abate by morning, while I make a urology appointment regardless but who knows what that schedule will be like.

I coordinated a statewide series of webinars for Older Americans Month with our EAP. Fridays at 10 in May. My agency even did a press release with info about it (which I guess means you’re all invited?). Today’s topic was about caring for someone with Alzheimer’s. The info is important to know, but it is also depressing to hear.

Aging. All of us are doing it all the time, and people are living longer and healthier lives. But when I think of people going through things like Alzheimer’s my heart just breaks. It’s just not fair.

Google’s connected speakers and hubs are actually useful (unlike Alexa and Siri…), but it’s really hard when you’re super angry about something and have to mumble “Hey Google …” through gritted teeth. Just let us change the wake phrase.

Nice to have a week at home between business trips. I try to space out travel to no more than once per month, but this month just stacked up for me. Gotta enjoy the time at home while I can!

I finally finished my exams and entered the Ramadan holiday, I plan not to go to my family and spend a holiday with my friends.
